“”Aut inveniam viam aut faciam” – I shall either find a way or make one
Nice to e-meet you! I’m Roxanna, and I am passionate about self-development and owning our diverse paths in life. I do not believe in sugar coating or masking the reality behind what it takes to achieve our goals. I take an unorthodox approach to big tech and take pride in highlighting the good and the not-so-great moments. We all know social media is a highlight reel, and I aim to shed light on what really happens in our journeys through tech – especially “big tech.” This doesn’t mean the journey isn’t worth it- (it absolutely is – if that is what you want) but it helps to have your resources handy for when life throws you curve balls. As someone with a non-traditional journey into tech, I know firsthand there is more than one way to achieve your goals. I share what has worked for me and those in my network. A variety of successful men and women within STEM have non-traditional journeys. I aim to share what I have learned through them and my own experiences. If neither of those work, I hope to connect you with someone in the field who can help you achieve your goals.
I currently work as a security software engineer for Microsoft and hope to grow my own career in the tech field as well as yours. I have many interests outside of tech, including weight lifting, photography, travel, health wellness, and hanging out with my loved ones. I hope you find this site useful, and please, even if you’ve heard it many times before – do not hesitate to reach out. I update any conferences or events I’m speaking at on my social media 🙂
